Assistant Professor | Consultant Microbiologist & Infectious Disease Specialist | Clinical Researcher | Antimicrobial Stewardship Leader I am a Consultant in Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, currently leading the Laboratory and Blood Bank at Wadi Al-Dawasir General Hospital. I hold an MD in Medical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases, a Master's in Tropical Medicine, and a Diploma in Infectious Diseases from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI). I also serve as an Assistant Professor at the University of Kordofan. My work focuses on antimicrobial resistance surveillance, sepsis management, infection prevention, and quality improvement in laboratory services. I have authored electronic books on antimicrobial treatment guidelines and sample collection, tailored for hospital-wide clinical use. I have published in peer-reviewed journals (Elsevier, ECronicon, IntechOpen) and contributed to a book chapter on tuberculosis research. My research bridges international guidelines with local resistance data to optimize antibiotic use and patient safety.
